Sears Wish Book
remember that giant book? the one from Sears, with all the coolest toys in it? it was probably about 2 inches thick and would come in plenty of time for me to browse it, searching for just the right things to put on my wish list. i guess it doesn't exist anymore though. too bad.
the reason i bring this us is because of the above picture. it's of Rockefeller Center, all decked out in holiday lights. this is on my wish list of places to visit, most especially during Christmas. i'd actually like to go to NYC just before Christmas and hang out for that week, then go to Times Square, or someplace near there, to see all the New Year's festivities. just once i think i'd like to experience it. i'm not even sure why, but something in my head says New York City at Christmas and New Years is magical. fun. childlike. snowy. different. experiential. i just have images of me ice skating in Central Park with gloves, scarf, and beanie, actually enjoying myself while being cold and focused on not falling down (and all preferably with a husband with the same ideas).
anyway, i just thought i'd share with you one of the things on my wish list. :-)
